Sebastien Meunier Leaves Ann Demeulemeester

Today, Sebastien Meunier, the head designer of Ann Demeulemeester, announced that he is stepping down. The announcement came via his Instagram page.

Earlier this year rumors surfaced that Claudio Antonioli, of the eponymous boutique and the New Guards Group, the owners of brands such as Off-White and Marcelo Burlon, was in talks of buying the brand from its current CEO Anne Chapelle. It is not immediately clear whether Meunier’s departure was linked to the potential sale or who will replace Meunier.

It is also unclear what the future holds for Haider Ackermann, another brand that is part of BVBA32, the parent company of Ann Demeulemeester.
