Sacai Launches E-Commerce

We are pleased to announce that Sacai have officially launched an online store, “sacai THE store”. Quite a few designers have finally begun to open their own online stores in recent years but Chitose Abe, the brand’s designer, is taking a different approach. All of the products will be shown on employees or personal friends in their own style and space to give it a more personal feeling, akin to the intimacy one might find within a retail space.

The store opens with their Spring/Summer 2020 collection, as well as some online exclusives, and an entire section for kids such as the SS20 world map print reinterpreted for kids.

Sacai has also announced two upcoming collaborations that will be made available for pre-order, just in time for global shipping in July, with UNDERCOVER and Nike. The UNDERCOVER collaboration will see both designers infusing their own brands’ essence into existing pieces of the other’s, and the Nike collaboration will be a variety of products featuring their slogan, “You Can’t Stop Us”.

sacai THE store opened today in Japan, and global shipping for the rest of the world will be available sometime in July.
