Perfumer H Opens Paris Boutique

If you are in town for Men’s Fashion Week in Paris (or any other time), and in search of a unique fragrance or a candle, you must pay a visit to the newly opened Perfumer H boutique in Marais. Perfumer H is one of the most unique independent perfumers out there. Lyn Harris’s passion for her craft is obvious in everything from the brilliant scents to the packaging, which include custom hand-blown glass bottles, to the store design. It is a rare treat to see the full Perfumer H universe in action outside of the brand’s London Marylebone home, and also to take advantage of its refill service (to open later this year) that enables you to keep your perfume bottle for life. A candle refill program will also allow the customers to return their hand-blown candle vessels and to buy a new one at half-price.

The new shop utilizes a neutral color palette, cast-iron plinths and oak lined glass vitrines. An old British school sink sits in the back showcasing Perfumer H’s unique refillable handblown hand wash vessel as well as other olfactory pieces made by artisans from around the world; soap made in Lancashire, incense hand rolled in Kyoto, moss potpourri handpicked in The Balkans, Smoke pillar candles handmade by our the brand’s makers in London. The store also carries several garments and towels developed together with Arts & Science, the purveyor of earthy Tokyo chic. Last but not least, the shop has a pantry with delicately scented teas, Spanish olive oil, and preserves.
