We would like to introduce to you a new e-commerce platform called Reversible.
This shopping aggregator combines both retail and individual listings, with the idea that anyone should be able to look for fashion in one place.
Reversible was conceived by fashion enthusiasts who were tired of jumping from one website to the next in order to find that one grail they would be hunting for.
Besides providing access to major venues such as FarFetch and boutiques such as Luisa Via Rom and Antonioli, Reversible offers an archival fashion marketplace where they offer a zero commission on sales and where anyone can buy and sell their clothes.
MEASURABLE, its proprietary measurement software takes the guesswork out of buying a new garment online.
Another thing that sets Reversible apart is their community-building, social-media based approach to its audience. The platform allows you to rate the items you have bought and to show them off in an OOTD format.
“As a long time fashion fan, I am used to the hunt for that elusive grail, but the hunt isn’t always successful,” says Deng, Reversible’s founder. “I’ve been through multiple situations searching for Designer Style ID on Google, or trying my luck on Yahoo JP, Grailed and communities like SuFu. It takes time and effort and the entire process is patchy, like all fashion shopping today. It’s the lack of transparency in supply/demand that caused these problems; like some used styles are sold higher on Grailed than brand new from retailers. I was inspired by the emergence of StockX, to some extent it actually solves the supply/demand issue for sneakers, and soon the idea of REVERSIBLE came to mind. A time-invariant product database is the key, and the ability to unify retailers, resellers and individuals all in one place seems like a solution to the industry.”
For boutiques or archival shops looking to expand their e-commerce reach, Reversible offers direct and seamleess integration with their Shopify-based platform with zero commission fees.
Besides its comprehensive website with granular search drill down that allows you to search for the exact item you want, Reversible also offers a smartphone app.
