yeah but there's a difference between unconventional and a costume. I was sorta trying to imply that with my "queen comment" . And too many people r trying to be something/someone they r not. And you can smell that miles away.
Oh and as a matter of fact.. i am looking for nice (and affordable :P) heels as well. THo i wouldn't recommend wearing them to that particular outfit. Don't think heels and those trousers would work allt hat well, but that's just my Opinion. (or well they'd work wonderfully with the wrap..so actually i am not sure :P)
I have a pair of wonderful bernhard willhelm hi top sneakers I usually use which has a nice caramel colour. I wouldn't wear heels with those either :) I want heels for the fierce harsh dark slim style. I've been looking for the pony hair rick heels, but they are apparently not very common. those were closest to perfect. And finding stylish heels in mens sizes is more or less impossible. they're all super disgusting drag stuff.

I guess I just don't understand what look you're going for. The dictionary definition of drag is "The clothing characteristic of one sex when worn by a member of the opposite sex"
I've yet to see a male figure pull off the slim heels look without looking supremely out of place. A guy on tFS named Alejandro used to wear all sorts of womens high heeled shoes with his outfits before he moved onto a different look, but it never came off as natural or comfortable.
yes... I know this will respark the what-clothes-for-what-people debate ;)
ironman i think the blazer sleeves are a lit too long esp when you want the blue gloves to stand out...or maybe its just me.
yeah the sleeves are a bit long, but from my (small) experience julius blazers have long sleeves =/
and Chinorlz, i think (i'm not sure) Heirloom is talking about heels like the YSL/Dior 6.5cm ones. but if he's not, i for the record have also not seen a man look half decent in a pair of thin heels
If I thought I could pull off a pair of absurd cuban / Rick heels I definitely would go for a pair. Maybe if I ever decide that anorexia is the thing for me and start to be "the freak" skinny.
rick heels are much higher. normal cuban heels are actually quite comfortable to walk in and in my opinion are a nice alternative to dress shoes (in some cases)
I'm looking for 10 cm heels. I tried the Rick heels, but the heel was a bit too clumsy, and almost a bit 70's glam which isn't really what i'm going for. If you tapered the heel just a little, they'd be perfect. I like the sharp angles in them though. And anyone who says that I'd look uncomfortable in heels haven't seen me in heels. I have the confidence and posture for them. I get compliments from all directions when I've worn them. I had a friend who had large feet, and I got to borrow hers sometimes.
this is the perfect shoeshape but it's as slim as I'd like to go with the heel.
There's a girl in my section who has a pair of grey suede shoes almost exactly like that with a slightly thicker wooden heel - pretty decent shoes (a little cheap looking but more than make up for in it shape and color). Definitely envious of people who can pull it off well of either gender.
