Since when I read Ochre's blog post about the CCP derbies, I can't help but stare at the too long laces. Would any of you fans consider replacing them with something more conventional length wise? Or perhaps alter the original ones.
ENDYMA / Archival fashion & Consignment Helmut Lang 1986-2005 | Ann Demeulemeester | Raf Simons | Burberry Prorsum | and more...
Anyway, outfit from yesterday, great day in Antwerp with Rilu
it makes me smile to picture the two of you sitting in some quaint cafe in antwerp wearing your japanese designer clothing and discussing life...
i want that pleated top more and more as i see you wear it, but i'll have to find one in black as i'd probably stain it the moment i put it on.
rilu, i'm lusting after a pair of big clunky combat boots to wear with skirts the way you do. i recently found the perfect pair, and i'm crossing my fingers that they don't sell out before i get the money together.
I don't think the jacket looks too small here, it's quite something else indeed.
thank you, and all the others for the compliments
it's not so much an issue of it looking too small, as it is of feeling too small. but after wearing it around, i have decided that the pleasure of wearing it far outweighs the minor discomfort that it causes.
also thank you, DRRRK, for rescuing me from complete obsolescence...
as far as AKA's fit is concerned, perhaps it's not HOF because of the bad camera angle or whatever, but what makes it good for me isn't so much the obvious CCP factor, but the subtle details of the chain, sunglasses, hat, and ring combined just right with the attitude and the clothing. no, it's not original, but i don't believe that looking original is a prerequisite to looking good (though it helps of course). or looking badass for that matter.

The thing is Mr Kard, is that the laces have to be long... due to the high cut arms of CCP garments, shorter laces would result in a lack of circulation to the hands. Thus tying ones lace would be rather uncomfortable if the laces wasn't cut on the generous side...
Sorry, but the opposition doesn't make sense, at least to me, since fantasies are, litteraly, embodied.
It was not intended as opposing but instead of, since fantasies
are not necessarily produced by the sensing body.
Capital produces fantasies to. If you think otherwise,
then you're living in a fantasy.
You wanted to exchange narrative with fantasies,
I want to exchange fantasies with sensations.
I can't stand the tags, its as if your boots scream "I only wear vegetarian leather, and so should you!". They're footwear's version of the obnoxious slogan tee.
"He described this initial impetus as like discovering that they both were looking at the same intriguing specific tropical fish, with attempts to understand it leading to a huge ferocious formalism he characterizes as a shark that leapt out of the tank."
the saddest thing this weekend is how much sz reads like every other forum right now. strange mix of useless comments, sexism, homophobia and where to kop. monday reboot needed.
hahaha no way, i love these tags! not because they may mean what trentk read into them, but because they indicate a number of things that i personally find important, including the fact that a non-leather fabric can look great, be durable, and make up a basic boot of this type in a decent way. i've had these shoes for a year now, went in them through snow and rain, haven't polished them a single time and they still look as new. that's what i mean by a great fabric which is cruelty-free (including the sweatshop-free character). sure, whoever doesn't give a shit about any of this, just doesn't have to read/look at the tags, or any tags, patches or buttons for that matter.
