all i mostly care bout when i read waywt is the fuckin clothes and how they look , like a nice background is cool and i can appreciate the effort someone mite have put into takin a good shot also but in the end for me its the fuckin fit that i care bout . some of my fave fits ive seen are just the person standin in front of some kinda mirror and the fits so good that ill only focus on the details of the clothes and how its styled and wont even notice like a messy bathroom behind them

Something about the texture of the clothes and the bathroom pic gives me the impression of a janitor wearing really nice shoes. Maybe the texture of the pants/shirt are less similar in real life... but in the pic, it looks as if you're wearing a well tailored workwear jumpsuit.

I think I like understated fits like this b/c they make it seem as if you look good not b/c of yourclothes, but b/c of yourself. With more flashy fits, even if they're well executed, I'm left with the nagging impression that the person isn't necessarily exceptional, its just the clothes.

I guess what I'm getting at is something like the minimalist's version of sprezzatura.

There is a really interesting effect where the line of the wall meets the zipper on the jacket, runs into the line made by the door jamb and then into the line of the seam on the wood floor.

Like a straight line from the ceiling to the mirror....
