[quote user="mortalveneer"]Faust...I'm a big fan of the colour on that L'M coat...what year is that from?

Thank you. I love the color as well, it's a perfect compliment to black (especially with the black piping). I am pretty sure it's 04 - I think the label got erased, but I'll take a look. The lining is raw silk, really nice. I really like raw silk, especially mixed in with wool (it gives it really amazing texture, rough, but in a good way) - that's the fabric combination of my new HAUTE blazer.

I've really found myself drawn towards darker shades of organic purples (wine and plum especially) for tops. I got a Viridi-anne dress shirt from Albert this fall in a similar shade that is ironically a silk-wool blend (non-raw silk i'm assuming though) as well. It is amazingly comfortable and I'm already looking for another in a different colour.

Well, good for you that plums and wines are big again next Fall - it's a full-on trend again. Granted, it's cyclical and they always come back in, but that just gives you more options to take. This season's violets and purples didn't really take with the public. Of course, the fact that winter isn't really here is probably one reason...

Did you see that wine coat that Ann showed for next fall? Looked beautiful.

I hadn't checked out Ann D for fall until you mentioned that, but it looks great...definitely something on my want list. Although it seems another black coat always seems to trump any other coat purchases. I think it might be some kind of mental disease.

I'm totally digging the Attachment J-pants! Not sure if they'd work on my stature (5'8") but they definitely work on you! Nice coat too! I love the long gorge
