Okay. I will be there!
I still like to wear them tucked in, rolled up or simply cropped, but some of my pants are too short now. In Germany we say "Hochwasser" (high-tide) if pants are too short and I like it that way, but not as much as in my mod / punk mixture days.

In Jamaica we say your Tailor took your measurements with you standing in water“You know,” he says, with a resilient smile, “it is a hard world for poets.”

Ann Demeulemeester wool/alpaca sweater vest. Worn with nothing else.
This post marks the end of Project Show & Tell, an experiment I took on to inspire more female participation on StyleZeitgeist by posting photos of the clothes I wear. I'd been a member of SZ for over a year before I made my first post. A friend of mine who occasionally puts up his WAYWT photos here suggested I crash the party if invitations weren't being sent. So I did. Committing myself to share at least 2 weeks worth of dress came & went ridiculously fast, making it clear that bona fide change graduates from evolution just as much as revolution. For my part, I was all too happy to provide a sweet little kick in the arse, however ephemeral it may've been.
Thanks to everyone for their warm welcome and their input: the good, the bad, and the ugly. You know who you are. ;) New creative collaborations are being forged thanks to what SZ does best: which is bringing like-minded people together. I'll continue to post from time to time, with the hope that more female followers will come out of hiding and do the same.Last edited by interest1; 09-18-2010, 02:23 PM..

mmmmrk, I have to say that the top looks a bit too shrinkwrapped compared to the trousers which seem not loose but not super fitted either, and the shoes really aren't working with the rest of it."AVANT GUARDE HIGHEST FASHION. NOW NOW this is it people, these are the brands no one fucking knows and people are like WTF. they do everything by hand in their freaking secret basement and shit."

I think this is a great example of 'devil in the details', these two at glance are very similiar. nictan has gone for a more 'street' approach with the sneakers and more traditional sillouette while mmmmrk is going for a more alternative dare I say punkish aesthetic with the more harsh sillouette, aggressive stacking and chunky patent shoes. The jeans on mmmmrk could have a nicer form, the stacking might be a bit excessive particularly on his left leg, but I don't mind it too much.
