I do. I hate bare feet in the summer, but I understand the comfort etc. So in the winter, when I should be safe from other people's toes, seeing sandals which don't have the excuse of temperature is distasteful to me
however ,interest1 has beautiful feet so it's not so bad. I juts hate toes in general
Lumina, this is a beautiful dress which deserves better pictures. It seems to fit you perfectly.
Interest1, is it summer in NYC or do you wear the heels at home?
Until now I loved all of your outfits and except for the shoes I like this one too. The shoes show too much foot for my own taste.
Ha ha, actually it's snowing here! The heels are for tonight.
The entire point of an open shoe is to balance out any 'heaviness' from the rest of the outfit. The heels keep it from going too masculine. A closed shoe would essentially weigh down this look. And why would I want to do that? :)
Besides, a girl cannot live by Guidi boots alone...
I just prefer all the other shoes Interest1 posted. It is a matter of taste and I am far from complaining though because I enjoy every recent outfit posted by female members of the forum.
Interest1, "less is more" in shoes does mean less details and seams for me, not less shoe. Otherwise "less is more" would consequentially mean to go naked.

Get over it. Everybody has toes.. These don't exactly qualify as summer footwear, Galia. They're high heels.

those striped collars on the shirt are really distracting, and the jacket makes it all too maitre d'. i think just a simple jumper or an a-frame type jacket that slightly tapers down would be nice..
i use to have a yamamoto jacket that tapers out a little at the bottom like a x-mas tree. it would have looked very nice on this..
Lumina, I'm in love with your Junya top! Worn with this skirt it has a strong romantic feeling, emphasized by the fact that it puts a constraint on the body. Just love your outfit, the silhouette is perfect in my opinion.
I like Interest's shoes with this outfit, I can hardly picture those pants with closed shoes. The colour of the top is great, too.
