Copper (gold?) Dries van Noten tie - cheap. Was thinking to pull the trigger myself, but I like my metals in clothing a bit more subdued.

Thanks guys - my friend won it! A much better option than the McQueen boots we were eyeing at the beginning of the seasoon - the one that takes about a week to lace up and fold over!!

Not meaning to wish misfortune on you, but let me know when they arrive if they turn out a little big on your friend. Laika's pair are one size down and they are slightly too tight for my girlfriend. Perhaps a swap...?

Faust, do you think it is a reasonably warm coat? I still need one, desperately...

Honestly, I don't remember. I think it is. I have a blazer from that collection (same color) and I can wear it as outerwear - very warm.

Wait, aren't Laika's also a 39? That's what these are. In any case, I'll find out when he gets back from his holiday trip to Asia.

Bakla, they were a Yohji size 5, which wound up being the equivalent of a 38/38.5 in this case. Do you know the YY size of yours?

                                Lovely trench!

Wouldn't this have been too small on you DHC? If you fit the A suit at a size 50 this would have been too small.

Every time I see a piece from that season of Cloak, I want to punch myself because I could have purchased ALL of it at upwards of 75% off when Louis Boston bought the whole collection and then sold none of it even at their 50% off sale price. Nothing disappeared until final markdowns and then even afterwards, lots of it showed up at Filene's Basement.
