Just found a cobbler in my place having the rubber heel and sole pad. However they just have the pads from Sviq srl and Dainite. Can anyone give me comments on both?

Scarred horse
Been reading through some pages now, but can't seem to find out how to take care of my Augusta scarred horse boots. Seems lile the digferent surfaces will need different kind of care? Any tips or recommendations? Pic of the leather is in the link. Thanks http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f2...psrt7qs04u.jpg

NYC
Any suggestions besides Firm in NYC? I took a pair of Guidis there a while back and I was not pleased with the work they did (sanding down sole/sides, forefoot already peeling up). Just seeing if anyone has used someone else. I have some new A1923s I need to get to get "vibrammed"

I've vibrated many pairs with the firm, never a single issue. it's not a difficult job.Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months - Oscar Wilde
