Hi all,
Seriously thinking of picking up drexl's CCP leather jacket. Was wondering if this will fit me well. It's a FW06 size 50.
Here are my body measurements:
Pit to pit: measured from the back = 15" across
Shoulder to shoulder: measured from the little bump on top at the end of the trap = 18" across
Sleeve: measured under side of armpit to wrist bone = 20" and pit to fingertip = 27" and from top of shoulder to fingertip = 31"
Chest: my torso around mid pec level is 41" - 42" all the way around. Using a YSL single button tux jacket from FW07 it's 19.5" across measuring 1" below the pit. This one's pretty fitted and I usually wear it unbuttoned.
Here are the jacket measurements:
20.75" pit to pit
20" chest (1" below armpit seam)
approx. 17.5" shoulders
approx. 28.5" sleeves
25.5" length from the collar seam to hem
Thanks!Last edited by LEWisMe; 09-12-2008, 12:34 AM."Working out is modern couture. No outfit is going to make you look or feel as good as having a fit body. Buy less clothing and go to the gym instead." Rick Owens

But blazers are open at the top and I'll probably want to zip this jacket up.
I wish I had less of a genetic tendency to "V" out since it's hard to fit into these stylish tops!
Bottom line is that it sounds like a bit of a gamble..."Working out is modern couture. No outfit is going to make you look or feel as good as having a fit body. Buy less clothing and go to the gym instead." Rick Owens

That's because my chest is 41" - 42" around (that's with me not exercising for the last 7 months - once I start back up next week, my chest / back will grow another inch or 2 after a couple of months).

I'm thinking about getting these gloves
but I'm unsure of sizing. The fingertips look rather boxy and big, and i have slender fingers, does anyone know how these things fit?

RO two toned leather
So, does this jacket run a size smaller as some people say. Have found an L which the measurements seams to be all right, but just wanted to know, will it fit like an M?
Don't really have anything from RO to compare with, only a tanktop, where S is to small and L is a bit to loose. :S

Ordered this Viridi-anne jacket from Yoox France :
It is tagged "size II/44 FR", which means 48 IT.
If the II is related to the japanese sizing chart (is it ?), do you think that the jacket will really fit a IT 48 ?
Thanks for the help.Last edited by Chant; 09-15-2008, 08:27 AM.

Chant, a size 2 in the Viridi-anne blazer would generally be equivalent to a Sz.44/46, and Japanese labels have a tendency to fit on the smaller size, particularly with high and narrow shoulder arm holes.
Don't be fooled by Yoox's description.
The sizing is just a numbered description where generally
I = XS
II = S
III = M
IV = L
and so on.let us raise a toast to ancient cotton, rotten voile, gloomy silk, slick carf, decayed goat, inflamed ram, sooty nelton, stifling silk, lazy sheep, bone-dry broad & skinny baffalo.
