I never mentioned it was the best descriptor, and comparison of similarity doesn't imply proprietorship of design or fabric.

People really seem to cling on to that "esque" comment. I agree its pretty useless posting a pic of something in this thread without including the designer behind it. That said, something being "-esque" is not the most terrible thing. Alot of the designers here share similarities with each other.
Sorry I don't see what all the fuss is about :)
What designer is behind the jacket?

who's being mean? am i being mean? i don't feel mean.
one thing i am though is frustrated. and one thing that is frustrating is to watch someone who'd rather try and "win" an "argument" than just learn something.
although this is just a minor little tiny stupid thing its reflective of a larger issue for me and for many others who no longer take the time to post. they all still come and lurk and pm and stuff, but can no longer be bothered to type a post or take a pic because it feels like pushing an immense boulder up a hill that never ends.
sorry to say it but its true.Last edited by cjbreed; 09-11-2014, 05:57 PM.dying and coming back gives you considerable perspective

My training is also irrelevant to the thread topic begetting your own post:
or are still trying to stir the pot. It just feels like half of what you post is only trying to generate a reaction.

Picked up this current season cdg-esque coat at 2/3 of retail thanks to anonymous Tokyo baller reselling two weeks after buying it. Thanks dude!
Also some indigo-overdyed-black jeans from a brand called "some[thing]" that is completely un-searchable. Made in France, clothes looked nice as well. Long curved inseam, high rise, relaxed thighs, sharp taper below the knee - just how I like 'em.
