I've had a pretty strong pollen allergy all my life.. nowadays I start a regimen of antihistamine quite a bit before the pollen hits instead of just treating the symptoms occasionally, this seems to have toned down the allergy a bit. but its of course different for every person.

I wanna read Derek or Albert's opinion on the neti pot... sz medical clinic.

I grew up with horrible ragweed/pollen allergies on a daily regime of antihistamines. Around 20, I developed a heart condition so that I can no longer take the pills that kept me allergy free.
Saline/neti pot won't keep the allergic reaction from happening but what it does is clean out the mucous and congestion that makes you more susceptible to the secondary problems of allergies.
If you can chase the congestion out, you feel better and have less symptoms. These days it's about the only thing I can do for sinus/allergy problems so I do it daily followed by huffing on one of those 'natural' sticks of menthol.
When I do things like yard work, I have to wear a SARS mask.
I'm like the Boy in the Bubble.
I second the potential SZ medical advisory thread.
Sorry for the interruption...
I now return you to your regularly scheduled recent purchases...Originally posted by mizzarSorry for being kind of a dick to you.
