I did think there was a round neck iteration however.

I have a hate-love relationship with turtlenecks due to the choking mentioned aswell but I really do love this CCP one. The cut itself is great but I really like the pattern used here.

the shape and simplicity of those boots are OK but I would certainly buy the finest grade sandpaper I can buy and rub then a bit, and I would certainly chance the laces to something with no stitching at all“You know,” he says, with a resilient smile, “it is a hard world for poets.”

Looks the shoe quality from CoN has really improved from a few years back, like...really improved. I, too, am not a fan of the leather and laces, but it's no biggie. They will hopefully age nicely. Definitely like the shape.
I don't see how people can wear turtle necks in general, and the CCP ones are just ridiculous. I was assisted with a silk cloth over my head when trying one on...seriously...one of the most uncomfortable things I have ever worn.

Picked them up rather cheap so I thought to myself they're worth a punt!
Zam, I was thinking the same way about the laces, as soon as they arrive I'm bringing then to my local leather store to see if they have anymore fitting laces. But treating a pair of boots with sandpaper is something I've never done before, would you say it's easy?
