Marilyn Manson is wearing my first Rick Owens jacket... the retailer told me that Marilyn bought it a couple of minutes before I did... but I didn't believed him at that time. But now I have proof:
Lol at ASOS. I was in one of their style features last year where people could "shop the look" - needless to say, in the three pages of stuff they chose to get my look, there was only one piece I would have bought
"Lots of people who think they are into fashion are actually just into shopping"
Regarding the mark that concerns you, the fact is Rick Owens always uses different treatments for their use of leather that pretty much always leaves this kind of marks, which they consider making each piece unique. On each of the pairs we got from this model there was at least one mark or scratch, all of them different. If this was an issue of fabrication we would have returned this pair to Rick Owens, but they are consistent in having this specificity over many models and for many collections.
Please be assured this does not diminish in any way the value, the quality and the style of the pair that you received.
I hope this answers your concern and that you will find full satisfaction in wearing these shoes.
With those peacock slippers, I think I could have a go at making a pair at home... Same with those sterling silver beaded slippers... Give me a few days of spare time, and I might be able to make something similar.
