Went to Barneys yesterday. I must say, I don't understand what's happening with Barneys - their buys are just so... SAFE. I know the times are tough, but it used to be the store you went to get excited about fashion.

prolly end up with something like, there was a website error on our site, purchases made from (time) to (time) will be refunded

Why the eye-roll? They made a mistake - why should they lose money?

brings up an interesting point. brick and mortars abide by mismarks, how does e-tail handle these situations that are code/cms based

faust, yes they made a mistake, however as they did not mail the items out yet, i truly believe they wouldnt as its too much of a loss to take..funny how fast the items ran out in a matter of 30mins or so

The Rover Rick leather is not nearly as ugly as it appears to be online. In fact it looks pretty fantastic in person.

They sent me a shipping confirmation just now..

This has being going on for hours now, there's still stuff online that's priced incorrectly and they just sent out an email titled 'Shop the new Rick Owens Collection'....

So, if no one is monitoring orders as they come in, the guys in the warehouse who pack the stuff probably couldn't care less what it is and how much it cost.
