Erik Bjerkesjo F/W 2014 - Stockholm

Erik is someone I have been watching since last year when he won the Pitti Uomo young designer award. He is from Sweden, graduated from Polimoda, handpicked and groomed by Linda Loppa. His heart is in the right place, and so are his culture references - a huge Joy Division fan.

Very well made stuff. All the shoes are handmade in Tuscany and bear the special seal to prove it. The clothes are beautifully made too. It's reminiscent of the early Raf's work, and I say it as a compliment.

highly uneven, as should surely be expected. the first fit is, apart from the shoes, pretty spot on.

This is quite nice, clean and graphic without being boring.

i like this. he keeps the colors and geometry a little more toned down than raf (now) which i like.
