Worn twice. Beautiful split leather, many Riri zippers, silk-lined sleeves. From F/W 07, runway piece.

since you are educating us, what is the nature of the defect?

I have been wearing the blue ones quite a bit and no problems.

you seemed to like my advice about the leather Perot
I thought it was common knowledge. if you had worn them you would know. the astro material breaks up all over the shoe it looks like it was bombed. RAF bought back all the shoes because they were totally defective. there's a small chance he fixed the proble and you have a reissue. but old Nader here can't say for sure anybody know? your welcome.

I do like your advice and knowledge and that's one reason why I don't complain that you are theoretically discouraging people in my sales thread. ;)

The other is that I would not want to appear to be misleading anyone here.

I got these from Yoox as stated, so it's unlikely they are a reissue, IMO.

I take it this is only an issue with the chrome color, since as I said, my blue ones are holding up well.

Well, there you have it, folks; they may break up like they were bombed. If they don't sell I may wear them and document the effect... time lapse and whatnot... Koyaanisqatsi astronaut style.

Or maybe I'll just look at them because they are pretty.

it's all good. For those that are looking for these astro shoes, it's pretty well known at least on SZ. One of the guys at Komakino wears his astro kicks and loves the destruction and several others have sought out these shoes for that very reason.

Not sure, but it feels pretty synthetic; not like leather.

There was one of those stickers with icons on it but it fell off and now I can't find it.
