Sorry to veer away from all the paraphernalia references, though this could be perceived as a tweaker rant and thus in line with previous posts. Wore my Gitter jacket today and I am actually surprised to have been told that "your jacket seams are weird". Made me think you gotta love how the construction method puts an emphasis on each panel and demonstrates the beauty and importance of each panel's role to the total piece, when worn. I understand there may be those who are not fans of this type of stitch work, but man this is a piece that truly comes to life when you put it on. Viva Poell!
This may have been discussed before; but how can I tell if a CCP leather piece or shoe has been object dyed. What are the tell tale signs or features that I should look for...Does the leather looked washed, worn, color fading, etc? Do any of you Poell experts know? Thanks

so what's the final consensus on the rubber band boots? Really considering purchasing them, but still have some reservations concerning the durability of the rubber band closure. Any owners care to advise.
