I've thought about the cage bookcase before...
Otherwise, the pieces are really nice (bed aside) but not for a home in my opinion.
Artisan wood pieces...inspired by the masters (don't have 15000 dollars to drop on a rocking chair unfortunately). I approach it the same way I approach artisanal clothing though I don't demand avante garde design, the craftsmanship is still there. That, intermixed with a few classic pieces, some gothic touches (swedish victorian?) and small bits of color...its hard to avoid some tasteful mid century pieces though it can get nauseating if overdone. I don't know if I have room for sterility...
