Yes,

I have the entire New testament (from Matthew to Revelation) on CD,

and i listen to it everyday in My Car, I especially like the Gospel according to John

“You know,” he says, with a resilient smile, “it is a hard world for poets.”

Zamb that's cool, my comment wasn't meant as a general exclamation at your choice - it was a reference to marrying up the music with the clothing brand as had been going on a few pages back!

I'd say either Tom Ford or Karl Lagerfeld, since they both think they are gods, but I don't want to offend Zam :-)

The world is a better place with Love & Rockets. I heard Tones on Tail in a wine shop this week. I listened to Loop on the train this morning and could not figure out who it was, but then I remembered and it made me want to listen to all of those Main albums that are sort of impossible, but great (Motion Pool especially). Adding the entire Samhain boxset to an ipod is a mistake. Adding every Nick Cave album and the Bsides box and some Birthday Party somehow works.

it may be my faultsince i holdthis groupup to higher standards or that this album needs time to sink in (i've only briefly listened to it) since it's a departure from their typicalstyle, but i'm going to say stick a fork in this band cuz they're over. i guess when you get rich off ad campaigns and you're busy doing coke with models you don't have to make good music anymore. i guess we'll be seeing them on tour with ARE weapons or some shit now.

alright i feel better now, another great record for this band (supergroup anyone?). everyone should already be on the fanboy listwith this group after last years "remains" but now is as good of time as ever to hop on board.

i downloaded the vampire weekend record. it's ok, but i don't get the hype.

thank pitchfork for this kind of crap. they've been doing this ever since dismemberment plan came out with emergency & I (and we're all aware of how they turnedaround and shat on thesinger in an effort to lay down the backlash before anyone else couldand unfairly ruined his career).

everyone is so quick to try and find new bands that nobody else has heard of and then praise them before anyone else that we end up with all these generic indie bands with marketable music beingcarried around as the next big thing.

i like religious knives from the few songs i've heard. they stopped being so droney and more for a band. i really liked double leopards, so i'm thinking i'm going to like the new record on troubleman.
