AW0809 is still his best collection - in my eyes.
Agreed completely on his last few collections being a mash so its good to see he is back to being Juun.J.Never End, Australia.

Of the collections I know this is the best. The zips on the jackets are a bit too much sometimes, but they seem to make every item versatile. Overall I am rather impressed by the flow of the collection and could imagine wearing this outfit (without the hat)

I think there are actually quite a few strengths here, the structuring of some of the layered garments/the contrast in texture between the leather, synthetics, and wool make for some nice heavy silhouettes without coming across as clumsy.
But where I find the pairing in materials appealing, I too find the color pallet extremely fucked and off putting, particularly with all the contrasting zippers & trim slapped onto what would otherwise be a bunch of perfectly wearable pieces. There's also this feeling of forced/implied utility that does nothing but limit a garment's versatility. I'm thinking this could have been pretty nice; a strong showing buried somewhere beneath a shit heap of over designing, cheap looking trinkets and several thousand pockets.Originally posted by AVALANCHEis this an example of how not to wear ccp?
