Funnily enough I just saw someone wearing one of these this weekend. The guy letting people into the Banksy exhibit in Chelsea was wearing the leather jacket with the skull. He was also rocking a pretty cool hooded scarf which i asked him about. The jacket looked pretty cool on him, can't say I would venture there myself though...

any more pics, pipcleo perhaps? i saw some amazing leather jackets / coats at The Library. i tried on a gorgeous 3D long leather coat. the leather was super thick and beautifully-dyed. phenomenal fit and the attention to detail was great too. the clothing is much different than the bags and small accessories i've seen online. also a lot, lot, lot more expensive too.

i know EasternMarket carries them, and i saw a few pics from WhiteHomme, but haven't seen much of the jackets. Motoike Leather Art is a lot more impressive in person than the small items seen on japanese websites.

thanks for the info. the jackets and coat i saw didn't have the skull motif going on. no gimmicks like that, just some phenomenal leather (well, the buttons were actually oxidized silver bones). wish he made more items w/o the skulls

I'm not sure it's possible anymore. I talked with him maybe a year ago and the project was a very limited run, and although it may come back in the future, there's no plans yet. I guess you can contact the stockists - notably The Library and Eastern Market, to see if anything can be done.
