that coat looks awesome dji!!!....don't like the choice of boots though. Would rather see something slimmer here.

Snafu: Great fit, great pic. The perspective and flat focus make it look almost as though you're a giant standing in an empty lot on the street level.

dji: Awesome. That coat is amazing and I love the fingerless gloves peaking out from the sleeves. Think I agree with noerml on the boots though, they seem to throw things off slightly.

pnod: Overdue, but I never had a chance to comment on your last pic here. Love the immense hood paired with the drop crotch pants. Choice of setting is amazing of course, cue The Smiths Cemetary Gates.

HG status on that coat dji!
Was going to get it in black, buuut I flaked due to it was the same week that the Yen went crazy high and I hadnt gotten used to the new currency. I regret it sincerely, not getting it anyways.

About the shoes, they look somewhat off as some says. But I think they should work with that coat aesthetically. I blame the jeans, would look better with some cropped trousers as on the runway for kk attachment (that season), or ann d imo.

Looks great MonaDahl and Snafu, as well!

Yeah top half channels that perfectly gloomy post-war PTSD vibe that I love, and unfortunately Rick's kicks, especially crispy-clean ones just don't mesh with the overall look. Just switch for some boots and it's ace.

The top half of the outfit is perfect here, but with all the black the lighter grey throws off the palette and the trainers are out of place. I think this calls for a darker trouser, if not black then a charcoal grey and the shoes could be anything from boots to derbies but something dark in color.

Thank you for the compliements.

Snaf- I would wear that outfit every day for the rest of my life and be perfectly content. In my mind it's the ideal outfit.

thanks for the comments and critiques guys. I personally preferred the way the coat looked when I wore it to work with a white button down, black slacks and lace ups, however I can definitely see how slimmer boots would work better with the outfit. K you're right that I probably should get off the skinny jean trip, but I am from melbourne haha.
