Since I'm at work on weekdays, I'm forced to go with the whole "business casual" [+o(] thing. I try to get around it as much as I can.
Today:
Black gauzy fabric l/s button up shirt with 3D chest pockets (there is actually one on Ebay right now, in white) - Ann Demeulemeester
Dark brown herringbone pattern cotton/linen flat front pants - CP Company
Black leather laceup shoes - Fiorentini + Baker

Faust, I was already hoping to get that shirt you mention on ebay actually. You recommend it? When you say gauzy, is it slightly transparent. And how is the fit? 23" armpit to armpit sounds pretty roomy for a large.

I think I ought to post my own ensemble for the day:
Dark, narrow jeans from Margiela 14
A plain navy t-shirt from Muji
A red 50s looking cardigan with cream silk stitching along the seams, from Issey
Brown leather loafers from Y's with a rubber sole and a black rubber toe-cap
|

The material is not exactly see through, but very very light, like a cloud. The shirt is roomy. Mine is Small, but it could easily be a Medium. Ann usually cuts fairly, although lately she has been gravitating towards the skinny bandwagon.

It's the dreaded E18 error that infects Canons. I'll have to buy a new digital camera soon. I will also see if I can start snapping pictures of people on a street. I saw the guy from REM yesterday, wish I had a camera on me.

^ Geez, no pressure or anything! But since you asked nicely [:P]:
Pale pink cotton blouse w/displaced front buttons, elbow-length sleeves, stand collar (one half of which is stitched to the shoulder so it stays open), and an insert under one shoulder with a long ribbon extension that loops around the neck (Whew! I know that sounds complicated, but in reality it looks not unlike a normal shirt) - Hussein Chalayan Black slouchy wide-legged jeans with separated waistband (worn slung around hips) - H.Chalayan Blue kangaroo-leather ballet flats - Cocchi
Braided silver bracelet

Sounds really beautiful, droogist. I think Mrs. Faust has a similar shirt. He's her favorite designer too, you know :-)
