Those are the best pictures I've seen so far, so much more appealing than all the other runway photos. Were you able to tell if any of the floral prints were more than prints - ie, jacquards, embroideries / really light brocades, or in some photos a few of the jackets almost look like velvet flocking. Or is it defintely just printed fabric on all those jackets?

would you by any chance be able to post a higher res version of this pic to get a close up look of the fabric?

Stemsell, mostly they looked like appliques to me. I will be at the showroom tomorrow to examine closely!

Man what a dream to go to the showroom! Mmmm I hope you get some photos and do a showroom feature like you've done with other brands, either way, can't wait to hear your thoughts!

I'm curious to see if the brocade that's used to trim this cardigan will show up elsewhere in the collection, couldn't spot it anywhere else on the runway.

Not sure if that link is working right, here's a diff one...

Can we talk about the style.com review of this collection?

When even Ann Demeulemeester, poetess of twilight and shadows, is showing flowers, you know you've got an irresistible trend. ... Demeulemeester's most ascetic fans may be disappointed to find that she has a sense of levity ...
                Indeed.

                  Great photos, Faust.

Ann's patterns often leave me cold but this wisteria design is beautiful.

I'm so glad she's brought back the fencing jacket – in purple, no less!

Yes thanks for the photos Faust! Great perspective. And ditto-- will be interesting to hear from you about the showroom if you can

Loved the show, very whimsical... Not as many new shapes from her, though the fit of those striped trousers is wow! And it looks like some of the shirts or vests can be buttoned in different ways, been missing that from her in men's recently. Variety of hats, also. Fun collection :)

                      You are welcome all.

Stemsell, your wish has been granted - there is a blazer in the same brocade. But, mostly, as I suspected, they are appliques.

Unfortunately, Ann's staff does not allow showroom photos to be posted on the internet. The fabrics were really great this time. I am glad to see Ann righting the ship on quality control. While my personal style has in large diverged from Ann's latest offerings, her shows always warm my heart.

There was also a nice combat boot at the showroom and a back-laced one as well.
