EDIT: I meant the tiring comparisons for each detail that is similar, either here or in BBS threads, and comments that are as predictable as my own PH comments.Last edited by DRRRK; 09-22-2011, 03:03 PM.

I think the footwear looks nice. It's a little less interesting than the previous collection, wish they'd run with the tailoring from last season and taken it a little further.
I like the look of the high neck gray/tan coat, but I'm not really sure it's the sort of thing I'd buy from a spring collection. Doesn't really come across as an S/S collection, but that is probably the fault of the styling.

A few lines about the collection...
A see-through coat that looks like a fog. Metal-weaved fabrics to achieve a crisp and texture to the garments.
Jacket with elongated sleeve/glove in hand dyed horse leather. Raw bone buttons hand treated and fastened to the garments with rusty wire.
Bendable metal inside cuffs / openings and zippers that you bend the garment in the way you want it.
Some zips have bendable metal inside them to make collars stand up even though thin summery leather. Also displayed below in the photo of the bag.
Personally developed hand dyed treatments to achieve a finishing to the garments to make all the elements come together.

I had a pleasure of seeing the Obscur SS12 collection in reality in Paris and have to say that in order to really grasp what Richard is going for this season, you have to witness it yourself and be able to touch and play with the garments. The fit pictures give a good overall impression of the silhouette but in order to fully understand the amazing details and construction of the pieces, please see what Oskar has well described above and provided in the detail pics.
And I would not mind snapping some of the pieces for myself either, as usual...
