Someone offered me 1k$ for my old and worn dunks...Shall I sell or keep? Some part of me says, these will last a few more years and a couple trips to the cobbler, but the other part of me says these are part of a legacy and 1k$ will not replace these pieces of historical evidence that sneakers can be greatness . What to do...

i'd sell, though i'd have a very tough time doing so. i'd wager you can find dunks under 1k pretty easily if you're willing to dig, though that depends on which ones yours age.

you can almost always do more with money.

Dunks are doomed. The sole is the least of its problems; the midsole will inevitably dry rot and crumble from the stitching. And I don't believe in archiving personally, so I say sell while you can.
