Weird. Never knew of those Rick replicas. There are even some on Ebay. The leather does look sorta interesting, but can't support something that truly is so blatant. Crazy to me that they cost so much cash. If you paid this for those, why not just buy a pair of Rick shoes?

A page too late, but I was blown away when I found the latest Skovgaard collection a few days ago, after seeing the "geobasket" ripoffs on ebay too. I was only ever familiar with her wedge boot with the tread on the bottom from a few years back, which in all fairness is just a basic wedge boot with some exaggerated tread.
It's quite shocking and embarrassing to charge that much for a pair of shoes that are a ripoff of another designer. Not to mention wearing a RO jacket in ones "profile" picture.
Although they aren't direct copies, they're a bit more than "taking inspiration". A collection of shameless style by style rip offs for people who don't know any better.
