I'll be in London for an assignment next month, I hope to visit some good art galleries as well. I have a few in mind, but hope to hear more recommendations, thank you all in forward.

Cheers, and you just gave me an idea for a cultural calendar.

Carpenters Workshop Gallery was a good one, they still have a few Rick Owens pieces left, they used to have a lot more in November 2013 but sold many and some are in a fair in Dubai, lady told me something like that, but I recommend it! here a few furniture I saw yesterday.

              Lamp is by Rick Owens

been a few years since I last visited London, any other stores of interest besides the below?

                Browns
                Harvey Nichols
                Matches
                Selfridges
                Dover Street Market
                Rick Owens Flagstore
                Hostem
                Layers
                The Library
                Vertice

we'll be in the city for the best part of 5 days and staying in Paddington so looking for recommendations for good food and maybe a day trip or two to break things up.

I'd say half of them (first four) are not worth the bother. Go walk in a park instead!

Well, if you are going to go east of east, there is 127. Small and mostly women's, so maybe more for your girl.

And then LN-CC, of course. I mean you have to go once!

In between DSM and Rick there is the Geo F. Trumper flagship. Like stepping into a time machine. Get yourself a tube of almond shaving cream - best stuff on earth. Also, you should walk on Mount St. Next to RO, it's really beautiful. Stay away from Oxford St at all costs.

Pretty much across the street from the library is the Conran shop. Check it out if you are into design.

/\ isn't it closed? AFAIK LN-CC is mail-order only from Italy now. There are no clothes, nor shop, in London any more. I might be wrong though.

The London store is currently closed for refurbishment and is scheduled to reopen later this year.
