Droogist, look at the sentences below his question. He's mentioning the upside of online anonymity. I'm all for unrestrained honesty.

The problem is that he appears to equate honesty with just plain old rudeness, which he promptly demonstrated by calling me - a complete stranger - "dummy" (for answering what was clearly not a rhetorical question). In the same breath he undermined the very argument he made for "unrestrained honesty" by telling me my opinion was not required, the mindblowing cluelessness of which I find frankly depressing. It must be maddening to be aphex27.

Then again, from the sound of it, off the internet he's probably a perfectly nice guy.

Completely agree. Was just pointing out that online anonymity can work well if used right.... which, despite that one quote, isn't what aphex is doing.

Time for a fit, methinks. It's Sunday night, the kids are on break...a near-perfect storm is brewing. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time to get a French manicure this morning.
