Ha! I love it. Each one is like a Weberian archetype. Trustafarians go in one, professionals blowing off steam on weekends in another. The "Ricks" work in digital media in some form.

I wonder what Quiet_Noise's SZ Typology for the women of SZ would look like...?

i dont know the typology for sz females but i can seriously think of a few that i would love to poke around in their closets after seeing the archives threads with MBD being on the top of that list.

I don't think there are enough women around to come up with such a typology... :(

Important to remain outstanding and not to confuse such a thing with mere 'standing out'. It's obvious what the denizens of SZ have in common, but what gives certain people the SZ badge and others not? It's obviously not categorical. Ain't no taxonomy up in here.

seems like I'll be the party pooper again, but to me the top and bottom halfs don't match at all and the combination looks awkward. the fisherman hat look equally out of place.

don't get me wrong, jogu has posted nice outfits before, but this imo is not one of them.

Beau - Clothing and aesthetics are not scientific. Biological terms or classification as 'taxonomy,' are exclusively implied by you.

As a rough draft; Personally, I imagine the classic 'SZ look.' As outstanding within the 'Fashion World.' Where members implement designers concepts, I.E. Interviews / Fashion-Campaigns, from: Yohji, CCP, Ann D, etc...*Successfully.*

Interwoven - [Contrary to your opinion] As, Somehow 'standing out,' from the core concept of dressing for art or 'design,' to quote Faust.

As oppose to aimless: Vanity and materialism... That plagues typical fashion forums.

There are trends, even within SZ; I think, that was the posts message, lightheartedly.

                            • it's making me curious, and i love that. the folded down brim of the hat, the exposed knees and the buttoned up shirt all clash so violently, but are brought together with their shapes.

Jogu: the socks completes that outfit.
