never delved much into the brand, but after reading this I like what they stand for, even if the whole biker aesthetic is not for me.

To have your own factory and produce in America as he said is not easy, but I respect them for doing that. I also like the idea of a family run business, which is part of the reason I also like the structure of Rick's business too..............

Can someone please explain how Maurizio Altieri ended up working with Chrome Hearts and what his role was in the beginning. Just curious.

          Thanks for posting the interview.

I met Richard Stark at an event in one of their stores. He couldn't have been kinder or more genuine. At one point, a couple of rowdy children were jumping on their furniture (Chrome Hearts leather couch with silver studs) and I thought he was going to scold them. Instead, he walked over and actually started playing with them.

In regard to their pricing, yes it is high, but the quality is second to none. I'm not American, but I appreciate that it is all made in the U.S.

Really enjoy all of my Chrome Hearts stuff, surprisingly (received the 'Fuck You' ring as a gift and have a keychain from them). Looking to pick up two of the heavier dagger charms to replace the zipper pulls on the arms of my Lad Musician jacket.

Do they design any of their glasses or is it licensed? Are the silver bits made by them?

I hear they sell more glasses than anything else. Any truth to that?

thought about resurrecting this last night when I was trying to go splitsies on a CH silver pizza slicer with Faust, but he wouldn't ball.

These are old, but never posted here.. CH doesn't fuck around when it comes to their stores

Their LA store is one of my all time favorite retail spaces. Still hasn't gotten me to purchase anything from them but it has brought me close a couple of times (a couple of pairs of glasses in particular).

                          True story!

I agree, underdog - the LA story is stunning! I look forward to the NY big store, whenever that opens...

I always loved going into the NYC store that had the stairs that went into a beautiful little courtyard.

According to Yelp, that location is closed, is that correct? Is it under renovation? It would be a shame if it was closed forever.

I just spoke with CH and a new big store will open in the meatpacking district soon.
