I will kindly say that the Converse just don't cut it. :( Rick's stuff is so exaggerated that the converse looks almost dainty compared with the rest of the outfit. Rick's clothes require Rick footwear, I think.

I think the bigger ding is that the Cons' ubiquitousness pulls everything else down into pedestrianville, and when you're dealing with all Rick basics, they become just that much less special. Boring by association, to put it another way.

I'm 180 degrees on this, Faust.

Rick's exaggerated footwear often overwhelms a Rick outfit. Big blocks below exaggerated shorts can make all but the tallest look like fat kids on sports day.

Maybe the obvious branding on Converse is a bit off, but the shape and weight work very well here.

Thank you. There´s no branding on these as I have painted over it.
I´m actually saving up for some Rick footwear, but I have yet to try some Geobaskets on to see how they look on my huge feet.

the Rick shorts + sneakers combo is so predictable, though I agree that the cons are a bit bland. but who am I to say, most of the time I wear rick shorts with black on black nikes...
