The new soles are a pain to resole. I have had mine glued, stapled and God knows what else 6 times now and they still come off. Something to do with the composition of the rubber they use now that somehow doesn't like the glue...
If you find someone in London who's solved it, let me know.

I honestly wouldn't bother...I think the newer soles are better quality and don't wear down nearly as fast. I was planning on letting them wear down, then have some taps nailed on, but they've held up remarkably well.

New rubber is much harder wearing, hardly any visible and i've been out in them about 3 or 4 times a week for a few months.

i think we might be talking different rubber here. those low dunks have a 'clear' rubber which seems really solid - compared to previous seasons' geo's which are definitely NOT durable and are as beuys says a BITCH to re-sole (i found a cobbler who can do it - he says it's mostly about proper cleaning before glueing, but he refuses to tell me exactly what glue he uses...).

do new geo's (SS 13) have a new sole compared to FW12/13? in that case i've completely missed it...
