I'm a true 46, and the fly yarn j-pants in 46 fit me spot on.

in summary, it gives me an impression. these Designer clothes's production is an issue. Maybe due to the handmade process or other reasons...who knows.

i dont think it has any quality issue. I had own/handled the pants every season since 09 and it fits tts and did not vary much.

            a song for LUC knits:

            my name is luca
            i rarely make a 54
            but when i deci-ide to
            i really make a 52

seriously, if there is anyone from the label under construction team browsing stylezeitgeist, can you please go back to your old sizing. my older season 52's fit great, my newer season 54's fit like a condom. this is not fair to the big guys. right now everyone has to size up. which is fine if you're a 46. but what are we full sized men to do? not cool bro. fix it.

i'm just talking about the knits here. besides, when the knits fit skin tight they look funny with the j-pants and other trouser cuts that have a full top block. what happens is the silhouette gets stuck somewhere between avant garde and awkward so u end up with just plain unflattering.

            fix it please.

this message is sent with love...

Was just skipping the new LUC arrivals at Hlorenzo and am amazed, once again. Not only that the model finally wears the right size but also the pieces are lovely. What I really like for the first time are the t-shirts, especially this one.
[but it seems that this T-shirt has some odd cut, again - hence the strange thing going on at the shoulder?].

Can someone enlighten me what's so special about a 18 gauge knit? Also, Luca seems to frequently use a fabric called mako cotton this season - what's the background behind that?

I hope you guys aren't bothered by my curiosity for Lucas work

my lighter, more delicate knits from LUC sometimes have a slight peak at the shoulders, especially if they're reversible - but it goes away somewhat.

                        LUC waxed denim j pant

Thoughts on the current season waxed denim j pant from owners or those who've seen/tried it?
Am curious to hear more about the colour/texture/treatment of the fabric more so than the fit...

Color is pretty true to the images that are on sites, ie. Parable, Atelier. Not a very very dark grey with marbling from the wax that I imagine with intensify with wear. The wax treatment is substantial.. you can really feel it but that doesn't seem make them uncomfortable. Running tts.

                            Thanks Peasant!
I would guess that the marbling from the wax will actually fade with wear, causing the fabric to darken further, instead of intensifying (?)

I'm looking at this season's Fly Yarn pants in linen. Has anyone gotten a handle on it? thoughts? is it similar to last season's Fly Yarn jpants which is in cotton?
